Swimming Gala

Today we took 4 amazing Mayfield students to Compete in the KS3 and KS4 Lancashire school games Swimming Gala at West View Leisure Centre in Preston. They all competed brilliantly and won medals for Front Crawl, breaststroke, backstroke, push and glide, and Relay races. Team Mayfield brought home an amazing 17 medals, (5 gold, 4 silver, and 8 bronze).

We are incredibly proud of everyone today and especially proud of the amazing sportsmanship showed when cheering on each other, and other school teams and congratulating other swimmers.
