Mayfield is registered with the Department for Education as a ‘Special School’ and is inspected by the regulatory body called the Office for Standards in Education (Ofsted). The inspection assesses our schools against the Ofsted standards. We are inspected, as are all schools in England, under the Education Inspection Framework.
Since we opened, we have had 100% ‘Good’ Ofsted inspections.
Mayfield was assessed as a Good Provider by Ofsted in September 2022.
The curriculum is highly ambitious for all pupils. It is shaped carefully to meet their

individual needs and it enables pupils to achieve well.
Ofsted Parent View is an online survey that allows parents to give their views about their child’s school. Parents can complete the survey at any time. Parent View is also the main mechanism for parents to give their views to inspectors at the time of a school inspection.
