Pumpkin Patch Day at Mayfield

Our Pumpkin Patch Day was a fantastic success, bringing plenty of smiles, creativity, and autumn fun across the school!

Pupils visited the school’s very own pumpkin patch, where they explored, discovered, and carefully chose their favourite pumpkins to take back to class. Once back in the classroom, the creativity began, pupils designed, painted, and carved their pumpkins, showing amazing imagination and teamwork.

Each class approached the activity in their own way, with some pupils exploring textures and colours, others developing fine motor skills through carving and painting, and everyone sharing in the excitement of the season.

A huge thank you to all those that donated pumpkins to help make the day such a fun and memorable one. It was truly a celebration of creativity and community spirit at Mayfield!
