Pink Class Enjoy a Wild Adventure at Blackpool Zoo

Pink Class enjoyed a fantastic educational visit to Blackpool Zoo, where they spent the day exploring a variety of fascinating animals and their habitats. The trip provided an excellent opportunity to enhance the children’s understanding of the natural world, with our wildlife guide sharing many interesting facts about the animals they encountered.

As part of the visit, the children took part in an Animal Signing Safari, where they learned how to communicate the names of different animals using British Sign Language. This engaging activity encouraged inclusive communication while adding an exciting interactive element to their learning.

The highlights of the day included seeing magnificent tigers and elephants, as well as watching an impressive sea lion show, where the animals demonstrated a range of amazing tricks. To round off a memorable day, the children enjoyed a well-deserved ice cream together.

The visit was a wonderful opportunity to develop the children’s knowledge of wildlife, inspire curiosity about the natural world, and create lasting memories with their classmates. Pink Class had a thoroughly enjoyable and enriching experience from start to finish.
