MOVE Day 2026 – MOVE Like a Footballer!

What a fantastic MOVE Day 2026 we had!

To celebrate this year’s event and in keeping with the excitement of the World Cup, our theme was “MOVE Like a Footballer!” We were incredibly fortunate to welcome three footballers to school from Curzon FC, Lancaster FC and Preston North End FC.

The children thoroughly enjoyed demonstrating their MOVE skills while taking part in football-themed activities and scoring goals against the players. It was wonderful to see their confidence, determination and enthusiasm on display throughout the day.

Some of our older pupils were also given the exciting opportunity to play a game of football alongside the visiting players, creating memories that will last for years to come.

A huge thank you to Joe Nolan, James Nolan and Ed Nolan for giving their time and helping to create such a special experience for our students. Their encouragement, enthusiasm and willingness to get involved made the day truly memorable.

MOVE Day 2026 was a tremendous success, and we are incredibly proud of all our pupils for the enthusiasm and effort they showed throughout the celebrations.
