Mayfield Takes Flight for Trooping the Colours

Our annual Trooping the Colours celebration was once again a fantastic event, bringing together creativity, teamwork and plenty of school spirit as we marked the King’s Official Birthday.

Each class designed and decorated their own unique aircraft, proudly showcasing their imagination and creativity. To recreate the famous flypast, pupils armed with handfuls of flour, ran alongside their planes to create impressive vapour trails soaring across the sky.

The event provided a wonderful opportunity for pupils to work together, explore different materials and take part in a memorable whole-school celebration. There was a real sense of excitement throughout the day as everyone joined in the festivities and watched the colourful creations take flight.

It was a joyful occasion filled with laughter, creativity and community spirit. We are incredibly proud of the enthusiasm, teamwork and imagination shown by all of our pupils, who helped make this year’s Trooping the Colours celebration another resounding success.
