Are you enthusiastic about education and want to make a real difference for children with Special Educational Needs? We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join our welcoming team of governors. You don’t need to be an expert—just bring your passion, teamwork skills, and willingness to learn.
Serving as a governor means committing to a 4-year term, acting as a ‘critical friend’ to support and oversee the school, helping set its strategic direction, holding school leaders accountable for performance, and overseeing financial decisions to ensure value for money.
We’re looking for individuals who have an interest in education and improving school performance, a community spirit, time, energy, teamwork skills, and the confidence to ask questions and make informed decisions.
In return, we provide a mentor to guide you, a structured induction and training, opportunities to develop strategic management skills, and the chance to make a meaningful impact.
