You may be aware from media coverage that the National Education Union have announced strike action for teachers. This action is currently planned for a further two days.
When deciding how to manage this strike action, the safety of our pupils is always the most important factor. Due to an increased number of staff absences, combined with the strike action, we cannot open the school safely for all students on this date. However school will be partially open.
Thursday 27th April – Rainbow, Red, Green and Violet classes will be closed. All other classes will be open.
There is no legal requirement for school to deliver their usual curriculum on these days. We anticipate there may be some changes to our normal school routines, and appreciate your support and understanding in regard to this. We will inform transport of the changes on these days.
If your child receives a free school meal we will provide a packed lunch. If you would like to receive a free school meal please contact the school office no later than Tuesday 25th April. After this date we will assume you don’t require a free school meal.
