Could You Be Our Next Parent Governor?

We’re inviting parents and carers of children currently attending Mayfield School to consider becoming a Parent Governor and play a key role in shaping the future of our school.

Parent Governors work alongside the Headteacher and Governing Body to make important decisions about the school’s direction: from budgets and staffing to supporting every child’s learning, wellbeing, and overall school experience. It’s a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference, develop new skills, and be part of the dedicated team that helps Mayfield continue to thrive.

To be eligible, you must be a parent, carer, or have parental responsibility for a child registered at Mayfield School. Governors usually serve a four-year term and attend meetings throughout the academic year.
