Boccia Primary Event

Friday (23rd January), our pupils took part in a fantastic Primary Boccia event, who have thrived whilst learning a new sport. A huge thank you to @Chorley School Sports Partnership for providing such a fun, inclusive sporting opportunity for our students.

For some of our pupils, this was their first time learning the fundamentals of the sport, including how to roll and control the ball down a ramp. They approached these new skills with enthusiasm, embracing the learning experience brilliantly.

Our students showed excellent teamwork and sportsmanship throughout the day, competing against a range of primary schools from across Lancashire and winning multiple matches. Most importantly, everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves, smiling, laughing and making connections whilst giving their best effort in every game.

To celebrate their achievements, certificates will be presented in Friday afternoon’s assembly to recognise both performance and participation.
