World Book Day 2025 – Get Ready to Read Your Way!

This year, we celebrated World Book Day with the exciting theme “Get Ready to Read Your Way”, encouraging everyone to enjoy reading in a way that suits them best. Staff and students embraced the spirit of the day by dressing in whatever made them feel most comfortable—whether that was as their favourite book character, in cosy pyjamas, a football kit or in comfy clothes.

Students brought in their favourite books to share with friends and took part in a range of fun and engaging classroom activities.

A highlight of the day was the special sensory story and sensory massage session in the hall, themed around Hairy Maclary. This immersive experience allowed students to engage with the story in a multi-sensory way, making the magic of reading even more accessible and enjoyable for all.

It was a fantastic day full of creativity, imagination, and a shared love for books!
