☕🍰 Special Visitors to Dream College Class 💙

Last Friday morning, Dream College Class welcomed some very special visitors from Coniston House Care Home for a tea and cake celebration.

Our guests enjoyed chatting with students and staff while listening to favourite songs from Doris Day and The Beatles. There was plenty of laughter throughout the morning, and Karen even got Ian up dancing, creating a truly joyful atmosphere for everyone involved.

The visit also provided a valuable opportunity for our work experience students, Clayton and Nicola, who are developing important employment skills through their ASDAN Health and Social Care accreditation. Experiences like this help build confidence, communication skills and independence, preparing students for adulthood and life beyond Mayfield.

We would like to say a huge thank you to Gemma, Kirsty, Megan and everyone at Coniston House Care Home for making us feel so welcome and for allowing us to be part of their volunteer programme. We are excited to continue growing this partnership in the months ahead.
