As part of Children’s Mental Health Awareness Week, we were thrilled to host our exciting event, Mayfield Gets Messy for Mental Health, on Friday, May 16. The day was filled with a variety of messy activities, including water challenges, water fights, slime and other sensory experiences, all in support of raising awareness for mental health.
This non-uniform day encouraged students to wear clothes they didn’t mind getting wet or messy. We also asked for a £1 donation, which will be donated to the charity Mind to help fund important mental health initiatives.
The event was a fantastic opportunity for our students to have fun, engage with their peers, and learn more about mental health in an enjoyable and supportive environment. It was a memorable day, full of laughter, learning, and community spirit!
A huge thank you to everyone who participated and supported this important cause, your generosity helps make a real difference.
