Green Class Explores Ramadan

Green Class has been learning about Ramadan, a sacred month in Islam when Muslims fast from sunrise to sunset, pray, and reflect. It is a time of kindness, gratitude, and togetherness, encouraging self-discipline and spiritual growth.

As part of our learning, we explored special items significant to Muslims, including prayer mats, the Qur’an, and the crescent moon and star symbols. This helped us understand the cultural and religious importance of Ramadan.

To bring creativity into our learning, we also designed our own henna patterns, experimenting with intricate shapes and designs. It was a fantastic way to explore artistic expression while learning about this meaningful tradition!
