At Mayfield, we are proud to embrace a Total Communication Approach, with signing and Signalong playing a vital role in supporting our students’ communication and learning. Throughout the school day, our staff use signing to help pupils express themselves, develop their understanding, and enhance their overall learning experience. While we provide ongoing signing training for our staff, we recognise that similar opportunities have not recently been extended to parents and carers.
