๐Ÿ”ฌ๐Ÿฅš๐ŸŒ‹Science Week in Orange Class๐Ÿ”ฌ๐Ÿฅš๐ŸŒ‹

Last week Orange Class had a fantastic time celebrating British Science Week. The children became young scientists and took part in a range of exciting experiments and investigations. Throughout the week they made predictions, shared ideas during group discussions, and talked about what might happen before testing their theories.

One of the highlights was making fruit volcanoes, where the children loved watching the fizzy reactions bubble and erupt. They carefully observed what happened and talked about why the reaction occurred. We also explored dissolving, testing different materials in water to see which ones dissolved and which stayed the same. The children enjoyed making guesses first and then comparing their results.

To finish the week, we completed an exciting egg drop investigation. The children worked together to design ways to protect their eggs before dropping them. They discussed how to make it a fair test, shared their predictions and then watched eagerly to see if their designs would keep the eggs safe.

It was a brilliant week full of curiosity, teamwork and hands-on learning, and the children loved exploring, investigating and thinking like real scientists! ๐Ÿ”ฌ๐Ÿฅš๐ŸŒ‹
