School has updated our approach to addressing Relationships Health and Sex Education to comply with the changes that the Department of Education announced to Relationships and Sex Education last year.

At Mayfield as with all our areas of learning your child will be taught at a developmental level that is appropriate to their individual needs. You also have the right to withdraw your child from sex education lessons if you so wish and when these sessions take place your child's class teacher will be in touch to let you know.
